New Assemblage art

I used a new assemblage piece in the creation of the CD artwork for Nikki Talley's new CD, Beautiful Charmer. The artwork is based on a mermaid theme and incorporates many found objects, along with original watercolors, drawings, and photos provided by Nikki.

Opening Night

Wow... I couldn't as for a better night than the show opening March 5th! What a crowd... what awesome music... what awesome friends! Nikki Talley, a longtime friend, came down from Asheville to play for the evening and did a fantastic job. 3 paintings sold (YAY!). And then we hit the town and, as best I can recall, we didn't blink till 5am.

Four lil puddles...

Four little watercolors with no particular objective of ever becoming 'finished' paintings. This type of work, after daily graphic design duties and more concentrated work, is very liberating.
